Exterior-Grade WPC Louvers — 25mm, 6 Shades
Exterior louvers are WPC cladding profiles built for the outside of a building — facades, balcony railings, compound walls, porches and pergolas. Where interior louvers only have to look good, exterior louvers have to survive direct sun, monsoon rain and day-night temperature swings without warping, fading or rotting, which is why the profile is far heavier than an interior one.
Our exterior louver is a 25mm WPC profile at 9.5 ft x 8.38 in, covering 6.65 sq.ft per panel and supplied 4 pieces to a box. At 25mm it is roughly twice the thickness of a typical 12mm interior louver — the extra wall section is what lets it span open framework and take weather on both faces. Six shades are stocked: Dark Oak, Walnut, American Wenge and Teak in wood-grain, plus Grey and Charcoal as solids.
WPC is the right material for Bangalore specifically: it is termite-proof and does not absorb water, so unlike timber battens it will not swell through the monsoon or split in the dry months. Panels need no sealing or annual repainting — an occasional wash is the whole maintenance routine. Building Facades
Full-height exterior louvers give a villa or apartment elevation a warm, linear texture that plain paint and plaster cannot. The 25mm profile carries its own shadow line, so the facade still reads well from the street.
Balconies & Railings
Louvered balcony screens cut sightlines from the road and neighbouring flats while still letting air through — far more comfortable in Bangalore than a solid glass or masonry parapet.
Compound Walls & Gates
Cladding a compound wall or gate infill in wood-grain WPC softens a hard boundary wall. Dark Oak and American Wenge are the usual picks where a timber look is wanted without timber maintenance.

What are exterior louvers?
Exterior louvers are weather-grade WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) cladding profiles fixed to the outside of a building — on facades, balconies, compound walls, pergolas and porches. They are made from wood fibre and polymer, so they carry a wood-grain look while staying waterproof, termite-proof and UV-stable. Our exterior profile is 25mm thick, roughly double a standard interior louver, because an exterior panel has to handle sun and rain on both faces.
Can interior louvers be used outdoors?
No — we do not recommend it. Interior louvers (typically 9mm to 20mm) are not built for sustained UV exposure or standing water, and used outdoors they tend to fade, bow and fail well before an exterior-grade panel would. If the panel will see direct sun or rain, use the 25mm exterior profile.

Do exterior louvers fade in the sun?
All exterior finishes weather to some degree over years of direct sun. These panels use UV-stabilised WPC, so colour hold is substantially better than painted timber or an interior-grade panel used outdoors. Darker shades such as Charcoal and American Wenge show weathering least; we are happy to show you physical samples at the Dommasandra showroom before you commit to a shade.
